George MOSCAL (b. 1969, Suceava) visual artist specialized in painting. In 1995 he graduated from the Academy of Art Bucharest, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the painting department. In 2007 he got his PhD in Visual Arts at the National University of Arts Bucharest, with the thesis "Aesthetic resizing in contemporary painting". He is a member of the Union of Fine Artists since 1996 and a lecturer at the National University of Arts Bucharest, the painting department since 2002.
