Mihai MOLDOVANU (born 1957, Husi), visual artist specialized in tapestry and textile design. He graduated from the ”Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts Bucharest, Textile Arts and Design Department. He is a member of the Romanian Artists Union. Since 2012 he is a PhD in Architecture, ”Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism Bucharest. Currently, he is a PhD Lecturer at ”Spiru Haret” University and "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture. Awards: 1989 - Youth Award for Tapestry; 2014 – Excellence Award at ”Ion Andreescu” Biennial, Buzau; 2010 - Nomination for the Contemporary Tapestry Prize
