Marijana BITULESCU (born 1954, Craiova), visual artist specialized in tapestry. In 1979 she graduated from the ”Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts, Bucharest. She is a member of the Romanian Artists Union since 1986. Since 1979 she has been exhibiting tapestry, textile collage, embroidery, textile miniature and painting at the main salons, exhibitions, biennials and triennial of decorative art. Since 2011 she has been the curator of the National Miniature Textile Salon. Awards: Special prize of the jury awarded by the Ministry of Culture and the Bucharest City Hall; The award for decorative art at the ”Nicolae Tatarascu Centennial” exhibition. National and international prizes in the field of print design and fashion design.
