Emilia PERSU (b. 1963, Bucharest), visual artist specialized in painting. In 1998 she graduated from the ”Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts Bucharest, painting department, Professor Florin Mitroi’s class. She has been a member of the Romanian Artists Union since 1998, member of the Board of Directors of the Romanian Artists Union between 2012 - 2016, member of the HAR Foundation in Bucharest and member of the Engravers Association from Budapest. She is artistic director of the ”Printemps des poetes” Festival, Romania. She has organized numerous national and international exhibitions. Scholarships: 1997, 2000 - Scholarship of the ”Frans Masserel” Graphics Center in Kasterlee, Belgium. She participates in numerous group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
