Daniel RAGUSITU (b. 1967, Ramnicu Valcea), a visual artist with a specialization in painting, graduated in 1997 from the National Academy of Arts Bucharest, the class of professor Vasile Grigore. Since 1997 he has been a member of the Union of Plastic Artists from Romania. In 1998 he receives the Youth Prize for drawing, Resita and in 1999 he receives the prize for Contemporary Engraving. Between 2002-2005 he is a member of the group "Salmaster". Collaborated on the restoration of the stained glass windows of the "Mirauai" Monastery, Moldova, on the restoration of the paintings of the "Frasina Ramnicu" Monastery Valcea. Daniel Ragusitu's exhibitions include a series of personal exhibitions organized at national and international level as well as participation in numerous group exhibitions.
