Cristian PENTELESCU (b. 1958, Arad), sculptor. He graduated from the ”Ion Andreescu” Institute of Fine Arts, Cluj-Napoca, Department of sculpture, Professor Artur Vetro's class (1985). He is teaching sculpture at ”Nicolae Tonitza” High School of Fine Arts, Bucharest. He is member of the The Visual Artists’ Union of Romania. In 2000 he get a PhD in Fine Arts. He attended numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad. He won the award for sculpture at the Republican Youth Exhibition, Dalles Hall in Bucharest. His art works are part of private collections in Germany, Danemark, Switzerland, France, Portugal and United States.
