Constantina DUMITRU (born 1946, Ialomita), visual artist specialized in tapestry. She graduated from the ”Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts, Bucharest, Department of Textile Arts -Tapestry. She is a member of the Romanian Artists Union. Between 1973 - 2016 she had participated in exhibitions of plastic and decorative art organized to the Palace of Parliament Salons, Cotroceni Palace, Dalles Hall, Art Galleries of the Bucharest Military Center, textile miniature salons and painting biennials. She exposes tapestry, graphics, painting, clothing creation. Her works are in museums and private collections in Romania, headquarters of O.N.U. from Geneva, Embassy of Romania in Tokyo, Germany, Hungary, USA, France etc.
