Adrian PIRVU (b. 1963 in Bucharest), sculptor. In 1992 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Department of sculpture. He is currently Associate Professor and Head of Department at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Department of sculpture. He won numerous awards including: 1994 and 1999 - Youth Award for sculpture awarded by the Bucharest City Hall and the Romanian Union of Plastic Artists (UAP), UAP Critics Award  (1997), UAP Youth Award (1998), Award for sculpture granted by the Bucharest City Hall and UAP (2001).
